It’s like every time Benedict greets someone he knows, he just defaults to Bromance Mode.

In case no one’s said it yet
Hi, welcome, to the Star Trek fandom!
Whether you’re young or old, a newbie or an oldie, we welcome you!
If you became apart of it through Benedict, or through TOS, or The Next Generation, welcome!
Liked the films but never watched the series? Hi, it’s great to have you!
I know it’s going to be great serving with you, cadet. Welcome aboard the Enterprise, and don’t forget to pick up your Starfleet uniform on the way in.

I felt so sorry for Sherlock in this scene because they just completely invaded his home and disrupted all his things. Yes so they might have been a bit weird but it’s what he does and it’s just, you can really see how upset he is by it all in this scene, it genuinely looks like they’re bullying him and he hates it. I feel so sorry for him because it’s not for them to do and I would hate it if people came into my home and just moved all my things and ridiculed me for my interests. They wouldn’t solve half their cases without Sherlock and his experiments and I just want to scream at them for being so damn inconsiderate.
This.
You can see he’s overloaded in this scene and it’s horrible.
Every single one of the characters are guilty of this prejudice. Calling him freak, taking him not knowing their name personally, addressing him as freak in public, ridiculing his life.
Yeah, this reminded me of when my mom comes in my room and starts throwing things around because it needs to be cleaned. :|
“WHAT’S THIS DOING HERE?! GET IT OUT!”
This
I have to leave if she cleans.

even the way he unbuttons his jacket is hot
And it’s actually a proof of his excellent education. A man is expected to open his jacket when he sits down and to close his jacket when he gets up. Well done!
He’s so perfect
